About Me
Facebody By SJV was founded in 2017 by Sonia Vela.
She was inspired at such a young age from the success and legacy that was left by her deceased Father, who was inventive and deeply goal-oriented. This principle was then inherited by his daughter Sonia. Facebody was created for people, like her mother, who require a space to feel pampered and relaxed. With her philosophy of “Self Care”, Sonia is passionate about making others feel like queens and kings.
Her love for people is genuine and she expects them to leave her studio feeling great on the inside and out.
Sonia considers herself a woman of great faith and she knows that the only reason her business has come this far is because of her Heavenly Father. She trusts that he is the one leading and guiding her in this business venture as well as giving her a kingdom mindset.
In Spring of 2021, Sonia launched her online extension Birthed from Beauty with Sonia, two years in the making, Sonia’s goal was to bring the Facebody experience to everyone. Treatments for the face and body, from permanentmakeup tattoo, body sculpting, cosmetic treatments, and being able to heal with tattoo.
Facebody along with her name brand, SJV were the perfect bridge. Both brands live under the Facebody umbrella and she is on her way to boast a number of products to use for internal self-care as well as external.
